Hello all! I'm an avid runner and hardcore nerd, but I like to take time for jokes and fun too :) I'm writing this tumblr mostly as a diary of sorts, but feel free to follow!
Reasons my Mother Should Approve of my Boyfriend
My mother has been concerned recently that my boyfriend has been negatively impacting my schoolwork. Rather than deny this claim (which may or may not be true), I have compiled a list of good things resulting from my boyfriend that my mother would approve of.
*Note: this list will NOT actually be shared with my mother.
- I actually have motivation to work out.
- I have motivation to more regularly shave my legs.
- I am forced to clean my dorm room on a regular basis.
- I drink less now, because we usually hang out on weekends and we don’t drink very often when we’re together.
- I’ve learned to appreciate instead of dread my period, because I know I’ve made it through another month with no unplanned pregnancy.
I feel like the negative effects on my schoolwork are more than negated by all these positive effects on the rest of my life. :)

We spend all day hiding our feelings, our bodies, our scars, praying that no one will notice.
Then every night as we lie in bed we’re struck with the sorrow of no one noticing.
